PURPOSE: To obtain a feed-charge sensor which is inexpensive and, even if it falls off, does not cause secondary damage. ;CONSTITUTION: A feed-charge sensor 13 has a pull member 24 in the form of a strip which is suspended in a grain storage chamber; the downward pull that the grain applies to the pull member 24 is detected by a volume meter 20 and converted to a value representing the grain charge. The use of the pull member 26 in the form of a strip, the volume meter 20, etc., for the feed-charge sensor 13 makes this sensor 13 available at low cost and frees such a sensor of the possibility of causing secondary damage even if the pull member 24 is torn and falls off.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
