FIELD: mechanical engineering; metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: shears are provided with second fixed knife located in knife holder which is placed in the wedge mechanism of the clamp, and with second movable knife. The both movable knives are secured in the knife holder on each side of the rolled product. The clamp plate slider is connected to the movable knives holder via crank mechanisms mounted on the corresponding throws of the double-throw crankshaft. The throws of the double-throw crankshaft are displaced relative each another at an angle defined by the maximum thickness of the billet being cut. The distance between the knives and clamp plates is to be adjusted depending on the thickness of the roll products being cut. EFFECT: reduced quantity of waste material; enlarged operating capabilities. 2 cl, 2 dwg
