The present invention concerns a method and a kit for the detection of Bacillus cereus emetic toxin and related toxins in a sample suspected of containing the said toxin. The method is characterized in that boar spermatozoa is exposed to the said sample, and the motility of the so exposed spermatozoa is determined.
