Microwave heating equipment for bags containing, blood, derivatives and organs

The microwave unit heats blood, blood derivatives or organs stored in bags. It has microwave generators in a flexible plastics mat (8) or other suitable material, on the upper side. The bag is suspended in a pouch (3), preventing any leakage from defective bags. Microwave interceptors are fixed below. Support is provided by sprung contact rods (5). These accommodate the bag shape. A microwave generation from resonators (9) is arranged in matrix form. They can be excited individually or in groups. Preferably local control of the resonators induces mixing of the bag contents.
