PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program generation method and a program generation device for easily generating a program for a programmable controller in a short time and to provide a recording medium recording a program generation program.;SOLUTION: A program module PM being the part of an execution program is provided with instructions O1 to O4 formed of an instruction word and temporary addresses m0 and r0 to r2 and an attribute information table AT where attribute information for making the type of the hardware asset (data register and inner relay) of a programmable controller correspond to the temporary addresses m0 and r0 to r2 are described. The temporary addresses m0 and r0 to r2 are automatically converted into the real addresses of the hardware asset of the programmable controller with a computer processing based on attribute information. Plural program modules are automatically connected in accordance with an execution time base and therefore the execution program is automatically generated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
