PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for transferring a metal film, with which a pattern of a metal film having an extremely thin and uniform thickness can be transferred to a surface of an easy-to-break target member, such as a green sheet or the like extremely easily and reliability at a high speed and at a low cost.;SOLUTION: This member 30 for transferring a metal film has a translucent substrate 20, on which a thin film 21 having a photocatalytic function is formed, a first adhesion layer 24 in a predetermined pattern which contains a thermoplastic organic polymer and is formed on the surface of the thin film having a photocatalytic function and a metal film 22 formed on the surface of the first adhesion layer. Titanium oxide contained in the thin film 21 is activated and decomposes the thermoplastic organic polymer contained in the first adhesion layer 24, by having the translucent substrate 20 side irradiated with ultraviolet rays, resulting in weaker adhesion of the first adhesion layer 24. As a result, the metal film 22 formed on the surface of the first adhesion layer can be transferred onto a surface of an easy-to-break target member such as a ceramic green sheet or the like extremely easily and reliably at high speed and low cost.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
