METHOD FOR FUSING DENDRITIC CELL WITH DISEASED TISSUE CELL, ESPECIALLY WITH TUMOR CELL, AND MEDIUM USED IN THE SAME OR SIMILAR METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fusing dendritic cells with tumor cells, capable of realizing a higher yield of a fused product than ever, by subjecting the dendritic cells together with diseased tissue cells (especially, the tumor cell) to electrofusion, and to provide a medium capable of being used in the method. SOLUTION: This method for fusing the dendritic cells with the tumor cells comprises mixing the dendritic cells with the tumor cells and, if necessary, washing the mixture with a washing medium, then treating the mixture with a centrifugal separator to form a pellet, further receiving the pellet into an electrofusion medium, and finally subjecting the received pellet to electrofusion treatment, wherein a solution which is prepared by mixing a sugar solution having a concentration of 20-150 mM/l, a magnesium salt solution having a concentration of 0.05-1 mM/l, and a calcium salt solution having a concentration of 0.05-1 mM/l into aseptic distilled water containing no pyrogenic substance is used as the electrofusion medium.
