PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a PTFE porous material showing a small specific gravity dispersion as a single molded product, a PTFE porous material obtained by this method and a method for manufacturing the PTFE porous composite material by integrating parts of different specific gravities into one piece.;SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the PTFE porous material comprises the steps to bake a baked/ground PTFE powder in such a state that it is loaded into a mold and manufacture the PTFE porous material. In this method, the baked/ground PTFE powder is obtained by first baking an unbaked PTFE resin at a higher temperature than a melting point of the PTFE resin and grind the baked PTFE resin. The PTFE resin is composed of a homopolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and/or modified polytetrafluoroethylene. In addition, the baked/ground PTFE powder is baked at a higher temperature than the melting point of the PTFE resin.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
