PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which can give a PTFE porous material having a fine texture and can easily control porosity, and to provide a composite material using the PTFE porous material.;SOLUTION: This PTFE paste comprising 100 pts. wt. of PTFE powder and 7 pts. wt. of a pore-forming agent, wherein the pore-forming agent is held in the PTFE powder by the viscosity of the pore-forming agent. The PTFE paste produced by mixing PTFE powder with a pore-forming agent comprising a terpene compound as a main component and a powdery or viscous material having a property evaporating below the calcination temperature of PTFE. The PTFE paste produced by mixing PTFE powder with a pore-forming agent comprising a powdery or viscous material so as to form particles prepared by integrating the PTFE powder with the pore-forming agent.
