The antioxidation food product of the presentinvention is a fermented product produced by adding amanganese-containing natural material such as tea andfermenting with bacteria having a catalase activity (e.g.Lactobacillus plantarum). The antioxidation food product hasan antioxidation action in the living body including theinterior of a digestive tract by expressing a superoxidedismutase-like activity and a catalase activity,simultaneously, and is effective for preventing diseasescaused by active oxygen.
