LOW-VOLTAGE BLUE PHOSPHOR AND METHOD OF PREPARING SAME

PURPOSE: Provided is a blue phosphor for low voltage, which is excellent in lifetime property, and is produced by attaching a blue pigment to a green zinc oxide-based phosphor. CONSTITUTION: The blue phosphor is produced by a process comprising the steps of: dispersing the blue pigment in a vehicle; mixing the zinc oxide-based phosphor with the mixture to attach the blue pigment to the zinc oxide-based phosphor. The blue phosphor contains 5-20wt%(based on the weight of the zinc oxide-based phosphor) of the blue pigment and the blue pigment is selected from the group consisting of CoO-Al2O3, CoO-Al2O3-Cr2O3, or CoO-SnO2-MgO.
