PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PTC material allowing use at a high temperature besides having little deterioration as compared with a plastic PTC (temperature coefficient of resistance is positive) material and a manufacturing method thereof. ;SOLUTION: Conductive particles are dispersed at a rate of 10 to 70 volume % in an inorganic-organic hybrid, in which a skeleton of an inorganic polymer consisting of an M-O-M bonding (M denotes a metal, a semimetal atom) is substituted with an Si(R)a(O-)4-a group (R denotes an alkyl group, n=1 to 3). The conductive particles are metal, carbon, oxide particles having a size in the range of 0.1 to 100μm. A kind or two kinds or more of the above conductive particles are dispersed in a solution, in which alkoxide, and one kind or two kinds or more of alkyl alkoxide silane terminal silanol polydimethyl siloxanes are subjected to hydrosis for being manufactured.
