PURPOSE: A volume key in a mobile phone and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to simplify the manufacturing process of a volume key by molding a plating solution into a volume key main body without the necessity of a special plating process on the surface of the volume key main body. CONSTITUTION: A plating solution is applied on the surface of a volume key cast. A volume key main body(1) is obtained as the solution layer is separated from the surface of the cast when the plating solution gets solidified. Adhesives are coated twice on the rear of the volume key main body(1) in order to form a body adhesive surface(101). A volume key is manufactured as Jell-type rubber is compressed on the whole of the adhesive surface(101) at about 180 deg.C for about 200 seconds.
