PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft ice cream excellent in quality and satisfactory in taste by improving ice cream having problems in taste. SOLUTION: This soft ice cream is obtained by utilizing a hollow container 10, 10' installed with a push out bent 10a mounted on the top face of at least a piece of the container, filling soft ice cream of -2 to -6 deg.C through the push out bent 10a as the precursor of the hard ice cream, quickly cooling the soft ice cream with the container 10, 10' to -30 to -40 deg.C to form hard ice cream, heating the container 10, 10' and the hard ice cream filled in the container with a microwave oven to 0 to -8 deg.C. Various known containers are capably selected for the containers used for this method as shown in the example.
