Method for measuring relative humidity, especially low humidity values, by measuring a change in the electrical characteristics of a layer sensitive to humidity. The measurement method involved cooling of a fixed volume containing a moisture sensor (1) and a temperature sensor (2) so that the relative humidity in the volume increases. The invention also relates to a corresponding humidity measuring arrangement.
