The device has a control unit (1) comprising a set of direct and/or indirect wireless communication links (2.3-2.10) to a window drive (3), an indoor air humidity sensor (4), an indoor temperature sensor (5), an outdoor air humidity sensor (6), an outdoor temperature sensor (7), a wall humidity sensor (8), a heating device (9) and a ventilator (10). The control unit controls the window drive, a fan and a control valve, and the heating device constantly maintains and increases interior temperature. A dehumidifier supplementarily reduces interior air humidity. An independent claim is also included for a monitoring device for monitoring and/or controlling a ventilation device, comprising a digital signal processing unit.
