A BACTERIUM SALMONELLA EXPRESSING TNF-ALPHA PROTEIN AND AN ANTITUMORAL COMPOSITION THEREOF

A Salmonella strain expressing a tumor necrosis factor(TNF) alpha protein and an anti-tumor composition containing the same strain are provided to synergistically improve anti-tumor effects of the composition by supplying Salmonella strain having anti-tumor effects and tumor necrosis factor(TNF) alpha protein capable of inhibiting cancer to a cancer patient. The attenuated Salmonella typhimurium BRD509(KCCM-10736BP) expressing a tumor necrosis factor(TNF) alpha protein having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:1 is produced by transforming Salmonella typhimurium with an expression vector of tumor necrosis factor(TNF) alpha, pGEM-T TNFalpha. The composition for treating cancer such as skin cancer contains the attenuated Salmonella typhimurium BRD509(KCCM-10736BP).
