The clamp-lever system comprises a clamp lever (1) and a multi-faceted nut (5). The clamp lever may have a latch system (2) that may be adapted to a catch system (6) of the nut. The two catch systems may have a section of about 18 degrees. The multi-faceted nut may have a round groove (7) to receive a threaded rod (10) and may also have a stop (8) on the lever spar (3) of the clamp lever~s associated side. The multi-faceted nut may have an inner thread (9) for a stop screw (17).
