PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic steel sheet which has a multilayer film formed thereon through a simple process, thereby imparts adequate adhesiveness to the film and induces a high tensile-strength in the steel sheet to greatly reduce the core loss, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.;SOLUTION: This manufacturing method includes applying materials which mainly include oxides of one or more elements among Ni, Co, Cr, Cu, Mo, Nb and Mn in different concentrations on a base steel sheet for the electromagnetic steel sheet so as to form two or more layers; and heat-treating the materials to form a film. In the film, one or more elements among Ni, Co, Cr, Cu, Mo, Nb and Mn are concentrated at the interface between the base steel sheet and the film so as to satisfy (concentration at concentrated part at interface between base steel sheet and film)/(average concentration at base steel sheet)≥2.0, and (concentration at concentrated part at interface between base steel sheet and film)/(average concentration at innermost layer of film)≥2.0.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
