PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively manufacture a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet which has a uniform forsterite insulation layer free from defects in a full width and full length of a coil with superior adhesiveness, and also has superior magnetic properties.;SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet without using an inhibitor comprises the steps of: preparing a slab containing particularly 0.03-0.30% Sb and {0.04+Sb(%)}% to 0.50% Mn; hot-rolling the above slab while controlling a temperature at an inlet side of a finish rolling step to 940°C or higher and at an outlet side of the finish rolling step to 800°C to 900°C; applying a separation agent for annealing, which contains a Ti compound of 0.3 to 8.0 pts.wt. in Ti terms with respect to 100 pts.wt. magnesia; and further secondary-recrystallization-annealing it while holding it in a temperature range between 800°C and 900°C for a period between 40 hours and 150 hours in a heating step.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
