THERMAL PRESS FORMING DEVICE AND MOLD SYSTEM FOR THE DEVICE

A thermal press forming device and a mold system for the same are provided to press a plastic plate with stampers by uniform pressure by disposing a plastic fabric plates and pressing the plastic plate with the stamper with inner pressure of a pressure chamber. In a thermal press forming device, cylinder units(112,114) are mounted on a slide(104) and a bolster(102). Each cylinder unit has a cylinder(120) located in a pressure chamber(126). The cylinder has a plastic fabric plate(124). An inner surface of the plastic fabric plate faces the pressure chamber, and an outer surface of the plastic fabric plate supports a stamper. A plurality of heat exchange pipes(134) are installed in the pressure chamber to cool heat carrier inside the pressure chamber. A pre-load unit(160) applies bias pressure to the pressure chamber to swell the plastic fabric plate outwards.
