PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode foil for a battery used for a positive electrode plate of a battery having high corrosion resistance and high conductivity at a low price; to provide a positive electrode plate using the electrode foil for the battery, a battery using the positive electrode foil, a vehicle using this and an apparatus equipped with the battery; and to provide the method of manufacturing the electrode foil for the battery and the method of manufacturing the positive electrode plate. PSOLUTION: An electrode foil 32 for the battery includes an aluminum electrode foil 33, and corrosion-resistant layers 34A, 34B having a thickness of 5 to 100 nm, composed of an alloy of iron and chromium, formed on the surfaces 33a, 33b of the aluminum electrode foil, and coming in direct contact with the aluminum electrode foil.
