CHLORELLA EXTRACT-CONTAINING MATERIAL AND METHOD OF IMPROVING THE STORAGE STABILITY THEREOF

It is intended to provide a chlorella extract-containing material which is excellent in safety and storage stability without resorting to use a benzoic acid salt having been commonly employed as a preservative. A chlorella extract-containing material which contains from 0.020 to 1.63% by weight on a dry basis of a capsicum extract to the chlorella extract in an aqueous liquid drink comprising the chlorella extract as the main component. This chlorella extract-containing material is used in a chlorella-containing drink or a chlorella-containing food additive. A method of improving the storage stability of a chlorella extract-containing material which comprises adding from 0.020 to 1.63% by weight on a dry basis of a capsicum extract to the chlorella extract in an aqueous liquid drink comprising the chlorella extract as the main component.
