A strawberry jam containing lavender, and a method for preparing the strawberry jam containing lavender are provided to enhance the taste and perfume of a strawberry jam by adding lavender. A strawberry jam containing lavender comprises 100 wt% of a strawberry; 1-100 wt% of sugar; and 0.01-20 wt% of a lavender extract. Preferably the manufacturing method of the lavender extract comprises the steps of adding 0.1-100 wt% of lavender to 100 wt% of water of 10-100 °C; and concentrating it to a sugar concentration of 0.1 ~ 20° Brix.
