The package (1) has three triangular-shaped walls (2-4), where one of the walls is divided into two parts by a wall hinge body (10). Three-corner hinge bodies (5-7) are arranged on two sides of each wall. The package is transformed from a storage state in which the package is folded in a flat manner, to a usage state in which the package is unfolded to form an opening. Flowers are placed in the package via the opening. The package is in the form of an inverted pyramid in the usage position. The walls are made of paper, plastic, cardboard, non-woven material, starched textile or metal mesh. An independent claim is also included for a method for packaging flowers.
