PURPOSE: A method for automatically classifying lumber level is provided to improve working efficiency by constant work speed and quality consistency and to reduce process cost.;CONSTITUTION: A method for automatically classifying lumber level comprises: a step of capturing image of lumber in real time, which is being carried in a feed rate; a step of combining one or more images; a step of removing background from the combined image to have lumber image; a step of detecting node in the lumber image; and a step of determining lumber level based on product quality standard.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
