PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate configured on the premise that it includes an optical interference layer, a metallic reflective layer and a light absorption layer in which the light absorption layer is not damaged by a near infrared laser when the laminate is irradiated with the near infrared laser to destruct a part of the metallic reflective layer to cause different optical effect between the destructed part and the remaining part of the metallic reflective layer.SOLUTION: A printing ink such as Sumi ink (R) coating film containing a pigment of yellow (Y), a pigment of magenta(M) and a pigment of cyan (C) as main ingredients is used as the light absorption layer. The ink coating film absorbs the light in the visual range, but does not absorb the light of near infrared region, and hence is not damaged by the irradiation with the near infrared laser.
