PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining an SL hydrated product of high concentration by removing liquid and solid components from a finished liquid of cultivation without using an organic solvent.;SOLUTION: The method for purifying a sophorose lipid comprises: a process in which an acidic culture liquid containing an insoluble sophorose lipid obtained by culturing, is neutralized to solubilize the sophorose lipid; a process in which the culture liquid is subjected to a solid-liquid separation to remove the solids in the culture liquid; a process in which the culture liquid is acidified to insolubilize the sophorose again; and a process in which the sophorose lipid is precipitated, and the supernatant is removed.
