PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly tool and an assembly method of a toroidal type continuously variable transmission capable of preventing displacement of a trunnion in an inclining direction even in and after assembling.;SOLUTION: This assembly tool 300 includes shaft tools 300A detachably mounted to the other ends of corresponding trunnions 15 under a rotation-prevention fitting condition, and a positioning plate 300B for supporting all of a plurality of trunnions 15 at a predetermined assembling position by supporting all of a plurality of the shaft tools 300A mounted to the respective trunnions 15, thereby blocking the inclination of the trunnions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
