Further a sheet take-out method is realised comprising: a step (S21) of, so as to control gaps between taken-out sheets (P) to a target value, continuously taking out a plurality of sheets (P) from a take-out position (20) on a conveying path (101); a step of detecting (S22) the gaps between the sheets taken out from the take-out position (20) and conveyed via the conveying path; and a step of, on the basis of a first gap between a first sheet under take-out from the take-out position and a second sheet taken out and conveyed precedingly on the conveying path (101) and a second gap between a third sheet taken out and conveyed further precedingly on the conveying path (101) and the second sheet, controlling the take-out operation of the first sheet.
