The motor vehicle device has a motor vehicle window pane (10), which is provided to separate an interior space from environment. The motor vehicle window pane has a partial area (11), where the transparency of the motor vehicle window pane is varied in the partial area in continuous manner. A control and regulating unit (12) is provided to change the transparency of the motor vehicle window pane in the partial area in dependence of a light radiation.
