PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge calculation system swiftly and flexibly handling change in charge scheme due to diversification in charge menu and demand response.SOLUTION: The charge calculation system calculates electric power charge for respective time zones by: receiving a contract information table associating and storing information for specifying a smart meter and information for a contract type, a charge menu table for associating and storing information for contract type and information for charge unit for every time zone, information for specifying the smart meter from the smart meter, and periodical meter reading value; specifying the specific contract type from the information specifying the smart meter and the contract information table; specifying respective time zones and unit cost for the respective time zones from the specified information for the contract type and the charge menu table; calculating used power amount in respective time zones from a difference between a meter reading value at the end of respective time zones and the meter reading values at the beginning; and multiplying the calculated used electric power amount by the charge unit for respective time zones.
