PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric feedthrough capable of bearing a heavier mechanical load.SOLUTION: A feedthrough 10 has a flange 3 with a through-hole 4, and a first functional member 1 is arranged in the through-hole 4 and connected to the flange 3 so that the through-hole 4 can be sealed. The first functional member 1 has at least one deformation area 8. A recess is provided in the deformation area so that mechanical stability of the first functional member 1 can be reduced in the deformation area 8. When a mechanical load is applied, the first functional member 1 can be deformed in the deformation area 8.
