PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label data generation method and the like capable of obtaining labels printed in such an order that the same print images are collected into one regarding merge printing.SOLUTION: A label data generation method includes: a print setting step for setting merge printing to create labels by printing a plurality of kinds of print images based on individual information items successively read out of an information list formed from a plurality of individual information items; a number-of-print-copies setting step for setting the number of print copies; and a data generation step for generating label data so as to create a label on which a plurality of kinds of print images are printed, for a plurality of print copies. In the data generation step, regarding the plurality of kinds of print images which are printed for a plurality of print copies by the merge printing, the label data are generated in such a manner that a label creation device implements non-ordered merge printing where the images are printed in such an order that the same print images for the plurality of print copies are collected into one.
