PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily and efficiently manufacturing a carbon-olivine type lithium ferromanganese phosphate complex that can manufacture high-energy-density lithium ion batteries and has high electron conductivity. PSOLUTION: The carbon-olivine type lithium ferromanganese phosphate complex is manufactured through a process (1) of manufacturing a carbon-ferromanganese phosphate complex where the ferromanganese phosphate complex part is expressed by a general formula (1): LiMnSB1-x/SBFeSBx/SBPOSB4/SB(X=0.1-0.3); a process (2) of manufacturing coprecipitate containing the carbon-ferromanganese phosphate complex and lithium phosphate; a process (3) of adding an organic matter serving as a carbon precursor to the coprecipitate for mixing; and a process (4) of baking a mixture of the coprecipitate and the organic matter serving as a carbon precursor.
