An improved double-wall greenhouse device comprising, a trench-like configuration (TLC) having an orientation to receive maximum sunlight during the day-time, the configuration having a depth (d) representing an excavated level (EL) below a ground level (GL); a concrete-based configuration (CBC) erected on said trench-like configuration (TLC), and having a foundation wall (FW), the foundation wall (FW) having a width (W1) and a depth (d1) below the ground level (GL); a plurality of stone masionary walls (SMW) covering an entire periphery of the trench-like configuration (TLC) erected on the foundation wall (FW) originating from the excavated level (EL) to terminate at the ground level (GL), the stone masonary walls (SMW) having a width (W2) and a height (h1); a mud brick masonary double wall (MBDW) having a width (W3) and a height (h2) constructed over the stone masonary wall (SMW) such as to originate from the ground level (GL), the height (h2) of the mud brick masonary double wall (MBDW) being approximately 1.5 metre above the ground level (GL) in the northern side and zero meter on the southern side, a gap (g) being configured throughout the width (W3) of the wall (MBDW); and a roof (RL) having a plurality of sections (RF1, RF2, RF3) provided on the concrete based configuration (CBC) having a differential slope on atleast two sections (RF1, RF2, RF3) a first section (RF1) comprising a mud material and a second section (RF2, RF3) comprising a fibre reinforced polyster (FRP), the slope on the first section (RF1) being lower than that of the second section (RF2, RF3), a first plurality of ventilators (VL1) being provided on the first section (RF1) and a second plurality of ventilators (VL2) provided in the second section (RF2, RF3)
