This invention relates to the art of creating automated data systems. An interactive system for monitoring the sale of motor fuel in a filling station chain by processing geotagged data comprises a processing center which accepts the sale of petroleum products to a consumer on the basis of the correlation of geotagged data about the location of a geolocation device assigned to the consumer, the location of the filling station and the existence of rights and corresponding obligations relating to the transfer of motor fuel from filling station to consumer at the time when the processing center receives a request for the sale of fuel at a filling station, wherein interaction between the geolocation device and the processing center is carried out by means of mobile communications, the signal from the geolocation device contains a code enabling identification of the owner of the device (i.e. the consumer), and an accounting signal from the filling station regarding a completed transaction for the transfer of motor fuel modifies the information considered by the processing center about the mutual rights and obligations of the parties to a settlement for motor fuel.
