Natural gas as fuel for combustion engine driven vehicles is getting a competitive alternative fuel to liquid fuels in Germany, too, since the beginning of the 90'ties. Due to the low exhaust emissions the introduction of these low-emission-vehicles is supported by the German Government. This article describes the planning calculation of a modular extendable natural gas refuelling station concept for servicing small to medium scaled natural gas vehicle fleets. For people, who are dealing with a CNG-refuelling station project, supplementary decision criteria are mentioned, too, which grant at a lowest investment a maximum of economic aspects.
