PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pasty food product production method and a pasty food product, having excellent texture even being produced from Japanese horseradish mainly and also having no possibility that veins remain in a mouth.;SOLUTION: The Japanese horseradish which has been washed by water is preserved in salt, and then the salt water is removed (steps S2, S3). Then the Japanese horseradish is gradually cut by a cutting machine so as to have the width dimension of approximately 3 mm to 6 mm inclusive in one direction (step S7). The acquired belt-shaped pieces of the Japanese horseradish are aligned in the longitudinal direction respectively (step S8), and then they are cut by the cutting machine again so as to have the width of approximately 3 mm to 6 mm inclusive in a direction crossing to the cutting direction (step S9). The acquired plural pieces of minced Japanese horseradish are put in a mixer, and by the mixer, the pieces of Japanese horseradish are cut to be finer (step S10).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
