PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a machine for producing bar ice cream type products having high overrun.SOLUTION: The production method of bar ice cream comprises: a step for obtaining processed liquid or semi-liquid product by cooling and agitating a liquid or semi-liquid basis material in an inside of a container 2; a step for taking out the processed product from the container 2 and filling holes 4 of a mold 3; a step for inserting bars into the mold 3; and a step for cooling the mold 3 storing the processed product and the bars for obtaining bar ice creams. A machine 1 used for the method is also provided.
