To provide an ice cream product preparing device capable of improving safety level of an opening/closing part and preventing scattering of the product.SOLUTION: There is provided a machine (1) for preparing ice cream products, comprising: a frame (10); a stirrer; a cooling system of the chamber; closing means comprising at least one door (22; 23) hinged to the frame which is the closing means movable between a closing configuration for at least partially closing an opening and an opening configuration allowing access to a chamber; and retention means (30) retaining the closing means, wherein the retention means is provided with a door, a rotating element (31) and a stop, and the rotating element is rotatably movable around each of the corresponding rotation axes (R) between a holding configuration for engaging with the stop to stop the opening operation of at least one door and a non-engaging configuration for releasing the engagement with the stop to allow the opening operation of the at least one door.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
