PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve work efficiency while constructing a marine cable while preventing from giving damages to a protection tube.;SOLUTION: The marine cable construction system is a system for constructing a marine cable while feeding out the cable loaded on a construction ship to the sea floor. The support base is used in a conveyance path for conveying the marine cable from a position where the marine cable is loaded to a feed-out position of the marine cable positioned at a projection end of the construction ship. The support base supports a protection tube being placed under the protection tube which is attached to the outer periphery of the marine cable in the conveyance path to reduce shocks applied to the protection tube when the marine cable is fed out.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
