PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve work efficiency when constructing a marine cable while suppressing a damage of a protection tube.;SOLUTION: A marine cable construction system constructs a marine cable loaded on a construction ship to a sea floor while feeding out the marine cable form the construction ship. The marine cable construction system includes a support base which is used on a conveyance path for conveying the marine cable from a position where the marine cable is loaded to a feed-out position of the marine cable to the ocean positioned at a projection end of the construction ship, and supports a protection tube in a state being contacted under the protection tube which is attached to the outer periphery of the marine cable in the conveyance path to reduce shock applied to the protection tube when the marine cable ;the ocean.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
