Provided is a polymeric carrier exhibiting excellent intracellular delivery performance. This polymeric carrier for intracellular delivery comprises a copolymer provided with segments (A) obtained by random copolymerizing at least a cationic monomer, and a monomer having a ligand capable of binding to a cell surface. It is preferable that the copolymer either be further provided with segments (B) having groups capable of adsorbing on inorganic microparticles, or be further provided with segments (C) having a positive charge greater than that of the segments (A), or be capable of forming micelles.
