Application-based network information maintenance

Various communication systems benefit from notification of network information. For example, cellular optimization is achieved through selective use of data technology by network device applications, which uses notifications that reduce the need for external data requests consistent with current network state application observations. More benefits are gained. A method according to an embodiment includes monitoring network service feasibility of a user or application. The method also includes sending a push message to the user device when network service feasibility is detected for the user or application. This push message indicates at least one threshold associated with network service feasibility. [Selection] Figure 2
