FRIEND ONLINE NOTIFICATION METHOD, AND ONLINE GAMING SYSTEM

A friend online notification method, and an online gaming system. The method comprises: recording a mobile phone number bound to a user and network IDs of friends in a friend list of the user (S101); monitoring whether the user is online (S102); if yes, maintaining the original status (S103); if not, monitoring whether there is new login information about the network IDs of the friends in the friend list of the user (S104); if no, maintaining the original status (S105); and if yes, sending a message to a mobile phone of the user to notify the user that a friend logs in (S106). A user can still be notified of the login status of his/her friends even if he/she is offline.
