The present invention relates generally to a process for treating keratin materials, preferably keratinous fibers, comprising the following steps: c) applying to the keratin materials a composition comprising at least one photocrosslinkable polymer comprising at least one group during photodimerizable and at least one hydrophobic pendant group, and d) irradiation of said composition on the keratin materials to crosslink the polymer.
