A method for producing flavor-releasing granules, comprising: (a) adding ethanol, together with a mixture of a plurality of flavoring compounds, to an aqueous solution containing two or three cyclodextrin compounds selected from the group consisting of a compound of α-cyclodextrin, a compound of β-cyclodextrin and a compound of γ-cyclodextrin at a total concentration of 1 to 10% by weight, so that the mixture of various flavoring compounds is present at a concentration of 3 to 10% by weight in the aqueous solution and ethanol is present at a concentration of 1 to 5% by weight in the aqueous solution; and stirring to include the flavoring compounds within the selected cyclodextrin compounds, thereby providing an aqueous coating solution containing the mixture of cyclodextrins that includes the flavoring compounds; (b) maintain hygroscopic particles of the core in a state of planetary motion, placing hygroscopic particles of the core on a rotating disk of a centrifugal coating granulator comprising the horizontally rotating rotating disk, a cylindrical fixed wall that is provided away from the rotating disk and surrounding the rotating disk, and a lower wall that closes a lower opening of the fixed wall, and which rotates the rotating disk and at the same time feeds an air in a space provided between the rotating disk and the lower wall; and (c) intermittently spraying the aqueous coating solution onto the hygroscopic particles of the core in the state of planetary motion and drying to form a coating layer that releases flavor containing the cyclodextrin mixture that includes the flavoring compounds directly transported on the respective surfaces of the hygroscopic particles of the core without a binder.
