The present invention relates to a tungsten trioxide film for an electrochromic device and a manufacturing method thereof. More specifically, the present invention allows manufacture of a tungsten trioxide film having a honeycomb structure by regularly arranging nanogrooves and provides an electrochromic device having a fast response speed and improved durability by using it. According to various embodiments of the present invention, a tungsten trioxide film having a honeycomb structure by arranging nanogrooves regularly can be manufactured. In addition, the tungsten trioxide film exhibits a remarkable effect in improving a color change rate and durability when it is applied to an electrochromic device. Accordingly, it can be widely applied to various fields such as functional windows and displays.
