The invention relates to an axle drive unit for an electrically driven motor vehicle, which has at least one drive axle. The axle drive unit has at least one electric motor for generating a drive torque and at least one transmission for transmitting the drive torque to the drive axle. The electric motor and the transmission form a structural unit. The invention aims to provide an axle drive unit with the aid of which the drive train of a motor vehicle can be constructed as simply and weight-saving as possible. For this purpose, a power electronics and an electromechanical steering system with at least one electric motor for generating a steering torque are integrated into the unit.
